I was so inspired by my adventures while traveling throughout Europe, India, Nepal, Tibet, China, and other exotic locales that I had to write something. Then one day early last year, an idea started to take form quickly. I was finally enabled to weave some of my stories and integrate them into one of the best love story adventures to come along in years.

Being stranded is so unexpected. It’s the kind of situation you couldn’t anticipate at all. And it can be incredibly nerve racking, or even life changing. It could be a flat tire on your car, and your spare tire is in worse shape. And say this situation is far from home, and your cell phone is dead…woof!

Or, mentally stranded to where life just doesn’t seem to be moving ahead. Or, geographically stranded and can’t get out of where you are. It could be temporary, or permanent. So there you are, with an instant new life!

So, what do you?

Danny, in our story OVERLAND faces this very same issue. Of course he didn’t see it coming either…but it happened: Being stranded in a faraway place, knowing no one except the girl he went after, but wasn’t sure what happened to her after the…..well, unexpected!

But the circumstances he does with the situation he found himself in, will amaze the reader. And in the end, he becomes a better man, evolved, wise, loving…and has followed his destiny. The destiny he didn’t know until he was stranded.

Have you ever been stranded to where your life turned out better?

At 23, I realized the man with the white horse had me "stranded" in a dead-end marriage. I took my Dodge Dart with the almost-bald tires, and headed down the highway.I never looked back. There are times when the unknown has more promise than the known.
